Lemosho is a great choice for your climb because it is one of the newest routes. Because of its optimal blend of low people, spectacular scenery, and a high summit success rate, it is our recommended route.

HOW IT GOES

Millennia Safaris excels at guiding the Lemosho Route for Kilimanjaro climbs. Starting with a journey from Moshi to Londorossi Gate, this western approach entails rainforest trekking for two days to reach Shira Ridge. Lemosho then crosses the Shira Plateau, merging with the Machame route at Lava Tower. The path continues along the Southern Circuit under Kilimanjaro’s Southern Ice Field, culminating in a Barafu ascent and a descent via the Mweka route
